Welcome to English 9B! As with any class, it is important to know what the teacher's expectations are of the students. It is also very important for the students to feel like what they are learning in the course is important and relevant. This year we will be tackling a few difficult projects together. They will not be easy, but with my help and the help of your peers, your freshman year will be a success.
Expectations
1) All students are expected to come to class prepared to contribute to class. All students must have the supplies they need for class; students will not be permitted to leave once class has started to retrieve these supplies.
Supplies
2) Students are expected to respect their classmates, supplies and the teacher. If this expectation is not met the student(s) will be removed from the class.
3) Assignment due dates and grading scale are firm. If you are aware that you are going to miss class please inform me so we can work together to ensure you do not fall behind on classwork.
